North Korean Review's Korean Political Science Association Summer Conference Series (1/4) As a panelist of North Korean Review's and The Yonsei Institute for North Korea Studies' panel titled "Contemporary Perspectives On North Korea" at the Korea Political Science Association summer conference 2022, Fleming Presented his paper titled "Denuclearization in DPRK Post-Russian Invasion Into Ukraine: Conversation on the Value of Security Assurances and Nuclear Deterrence." In this portion of the panel, prior to the discussion and Q&A section, Fleming elevates the necessity for further discussion on the evolution and need for changes in negotiation practices, specifically regarding the security aspect of denuclearization in a post-invasion perception of diminishment of deterrence and the value of security assurances.
